Communications & Relations Agency
A NYC-based communications and relations agency focused on helping Scandinavian brands, entrepreneurs, and organizations position themselves in the U.S. market.
Our scope of services includes market research, branding, messaging, PR, events, partnerships, and collaborations.

Head of Communication
As Head of Communication, I ran the communications department. My responsibilities included marketing art openings, exhibitions, our restaurant and chefs, tastings, planning events, and handling all social media accounts.

FREELANCE
PR & Translation
Since 2016 I have created and executed PR plans for chefs, bakers, art galleries, and curators.
Every brand needs scroll-stopping content. For my clients and in my work, I create visually appealing graphics and videos that catch the audience's attention.
I also craft compelling copy to accompany all graphics and videos, as well as for newsletters, press releases, websites, and more.
Since 2019, I have also assisted in translating websites, blogs, and personnel bios from Swedish to English.

STHLM-NYC AGENCY
STHLM-NYC Agency is a communications agency in the heart of New York City that I founded together with my partner Yasmine Mansson. As co-founder and Creative Director, I work with our clients to do market research, create compelling communication plans, and efficient positioning in the U.S. market.
August 2017 – September 2021
HEAD OF COMMUNICATIONS
MUSEUM OF SPIRITS
As Head of Communication at the Museum of Spirits, I was in charge of all marketing activities for the museum and all its entities. This included planning and executing Marketing, PR, & Social Media strategies for the museum, restaurant, and three exhibitions as well as events, tastings, and conferences.
I managed all digital platforms, such as the website, Google Adwords, Google Analytics, and Google Business.
We typically opened two-three exhibitions per year, all of which I was the communications lead.
The museum owns several historic art collections, among them the Absolut Art Collection. During my time, I handled the openings of the following exhibitions (amongst others):

- David Shrigley – Exhibition of giant inflatable swan-things

Communication for the restaurant included coordinating media visits, TV appearances, influencer marketing, copywriting, and social media strategy.
Each season, we planned a unique communication plan for the restaurant. This included out-of-house advertising, media opportunities, influencer marketing, and social media.
My responsibilities also entail all in-house communication.

DIGITAL MARKETING COORDINATOR
UPSALES
My responsibilities as Marketing Coordinator include managing all events, leads, the Upsales website, and all advertising. We held local and national events, among them a nationwide tour - Upsales on Tour. I assisted in building new parts of the website and was responsible for managing the site using Episerver. I qualified and delegated incoming leads to the sales team. I also handled all contact and planning of our digital and print advertisements.

HOSPITALITY PR ACCOUNT COORDINATOR

As part of the Hospitality team, I managed all hospitality clients. I created weekly agendas and recaps for meetings, scanned daily for press mentions and opportunities, and assisted in the continuous pitching of our clients to relevant media. With my team, I assisted in executing the PR plans in place and worked closely with the media to find and pitch suitable placements. I was also the intern coordinator on my team - responsible for finding, interviewing, hiring, and managing a team of interns each semester.
Clients included a Boston 5-star hotel, boutique restaurants, and an award-winning BBQ restaurant. Projects included a national launch of an international whisky brand with events in five major U.S. cities.

To further deepen my knowledge in communication, I am pursuing a master's degree. The program helped me work on my compelling writing, leadership, data analytics, crisis communications, public speaking, and strategic thinking skills.

For my undergraduate degree, I pursued a major in Marketing and a minor in Public Relations from this Boston-based institution.
